Meet our 2025 Theatre Speakers

The Cat Show Live 2025 is home to two theatres: The Applaws Theatre and the Dr. Phillipa Holmes Theatre. We’re welcoming esteemed global speakers for 18 expert led RECO sessions (Responsible and Educated Cat Ownership). From behaviour and health to the latest trends in feline care, attendees can immerse themselves in a world of knowledge and entertainment.

Victor Carpio – Dental Hygiene Expert

Victor Carpio is an animal when it comes to research in dental hygiene. With a masters in business and innovation and a love for his cat Lilo who he rescued from a Peruvian sewer, Inventor Cat was born. His creation the Dental Wand makes it possible to care for our cats teeth without jeopardizing our bond. He’s also our Dental Hygiene Expert at the Club!

Tania Murray – Grooming and Wellbeing Expert

Tania Murray has been involved with showing and breeding cats for over 30yrs. Outside of her day job as a leading Marketing Director, Tania is a highly regarded keynote speaker on the subject of Cat Grooming & Wellbeing.  Demonstrating all the key tips and tricks she has learnt to enable you to have a more confident and fulfilling grooming experience for you and your cat. We’re so excited to welcome our Resident Grooming and Wellbeing Expert back to the stage!

Amanda Campion – Clinical Feline Behaviourist

Amanda Campion is a practising Clinical Animal Behaviourist and Full member of the APBC and ABTC. Amanda is also our Club’s Resident Feline Behaviourist, so you’ll see lots of our exclusive resources are written by her! Amanda works full time as Kittysitty cat behaviourist helping to fix your felines problems and we’re so proud to have her as part of the TCSL team and showcasing on both theatres this year!

Dr Jo Lewis – The Cat Vet and Award-Winning Feline Expert & Author

Award-winning feline expert vet, author, and devoted cat Mum – Jo founded the UK’s first mobile cat-only clinic. She’s the go-to cat guru for the press and media and runs a consultancy service helping the vet and pet industries think like a cat. As a certified Cat-Friendly Vet and ISFM member, Jo is dedicated to improving every cat’s health and welfare, ensuring they live a healthier, happier life.

Audrey Mulhall – Global Brand Director

Audrey leads the brand vision behind Applaws and Encore, helping bring high-quality, natural pet food to homes around the world. With over 20 years’ experience in brand and marketing, she’s passionate about creating products that pets love and owner’s trust. Audrey’s a proud cat Mum to Bella, who inspires her every day to keep raising the bar for pet nutrition!

Becky Martin – UK & EMEA Marketing Manager

Becky leads the team bringing Applaws and Encore to life across the UK and Europe. As a proud pet parent to two playful cats – Stripe & Mogwi, and her beloved dog, Betty, she knows how important it is to feed our pets the very best. Her passion for animals inspires her every day to help fellow pet lovers feel confident about what goes into every bowl.

Sarah Whitehead – Animal Behaviourist

Sarah Whitehead is a highly qualified and experienced Animal Behaviourist, a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and is also one of a small number of specialists to have achieved the status of Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB) in the UK. Her absolute passion is teaching people how to understand the subtleties of feline body language through her online Programme: ‘Learn To Talk Cat’.

Dr. Scott Miller – Veterinarian, TV Presenter & Animal Advocate

Dr. Scott Miller is one of the UK’s best-known vets, regularly seen on ITV’s This Morning where he shares expert advice with millions of pet owners. Originally from Australia, Dr. Scott’s career began at the RSPCA clinic in Sydney before he rose to prominence on the hit TV series Animal Hospital. With over two decades of clinical experience and a deep commitment to animal welfare, Dr. Scott joins The Cat Show Live 2025 as one of our hosts and expert speakers.

Virginia Rud – Outreach and Education Specialist for Every Cat Health Foundation

Virginia has been a credentialed veterinary technician (nurse) since 2001. Her career in veterinary medicine has taken her from rural mixed animal practices to urban small animal hospitals to teaching post-secondary veterinary technology students and finally, landed her in the world of animal-related non-profits.  She serves as the Outreach and Education Specialist for EveryCat Health Foundation (a nonprofit focused solely on funding feline health research) where her primary directives are providing feline health information and promoting the valuable work of the Foundation.

Simon Davies – Inventor and Co-Founder of ProtectaPet

Simon Davies is the Co-Founder, Managing Director, and inventor of ProtectaPet – award-winning Cat Containment Systems that have kept over 35,000 cats safe. With a focus on innovation, durability, and aesthetic appeal, Simon has pioneered solutions that give cat owners peace of mind and enrich cats’ lives with outdoor freedom.

Tim Flach – World-Renowned Animal Portrait Photographer

Tim Flach has taken on one of his most challenging subjects yet – the cat. Tim will be sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes of his forthcoming book Feline, to be released on the 23rd October, unmasking the essence of what it means to be feline. Tim will share how the project came together – from working with elegant show breeds to capturing unexpected moments in makeshift studios across the globe, from London to Borneo. Some subjects offered their best side in seconds; others took all day just to acknowledge the camera. Coaxing a cat onto set is one thing – convincing it to stay is quite another!

Cat the Vet – Ever Clean

Cat is a small animal vet, meaning she cares for pet animals like yours. She works at her own clinic in Derbyshire but also has social media pages where she talks about pet health, welfare and her profession, dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs are all her patients but she definitely has a soft spot for the animals she shares her name with! Her passion is ensuring pet parents are fully informed about the health and needs of their animals and she loves working together as a team to allow them to live their best lives! Older pets have a special place in her heart and she is really looking forward to sharing her knowledge and tips with you all.

Jane Allen – All Breed Judge and Persian/Exotic Cat Breeder

Jane Allen will be hosting breed talks as an All Breed Judge for WCF and International Persian and Exotic Breeds Judge with TICA, The International Cat Association. Jane serves on TICA’s Judges Committee as their Trainee Coordinator. Starting her judging career in 1992 for GCCF and later expanding when TICA arrived in the UK around 2004 – Jane has been fortunate to breed award-winning Persians and Exotics, gaining awards in both GCCF and TICA. Jane’s delightful brown tabby Persian, Georgie Porgie, was named GCCF Cat of the Year.

Nicki Fenwick Raven – All Breed Judge and Birman Cat Breeder

Nicki will be hosting breed talks on the Theatre as an All Breed Judge with TICA, The International Cat Association. Nicki also judges for GCCF and WCF and many independent cat clubs. With assignments in Singapore, Australia, Israel, The USA and all over Europe she truly is an International judge! Nicki has bred Birman Cats under the very successful Amisti prefix since 2002. Highlights for her cats include 8 Lifetime Achievers, 26 International Winners, a FIFe World Winner and 3 National Winners and countless other Champions.

Natalie Yarwood – Identibase

Identibase is one of the UK’s longest established pet microchipping services. Whether your cat is an outdoor roamer or prefers the comforts of indoor living, microchipping is a simple yet powerful tool that helps reunite thousands of cats with their families every year. In this talk, Natalie will discuss recent legal changes surrounding cat microchipping, dispel common myths, and explain how this low-cost technology significantly increases the chances of a happy reunion if the unexpected happens. The talk will also cover what information is stored on your cat’s microchip, how to identify which database it’s registered with, and how to update outdated information that could affect your chances of being reunited with your cat.

Katie Gwilt – The Kat Lady

Katie is a cat groomer, behaviourist and holistic feline therapist based in Liverpool. In 2024 she was a finalist for a Pet industry Federation Award and won an Animal Star Award for Cat Groomer of the Year. She is regularly seen in the press talking about all things cat and her special interest in self selection / zoopharmacognosy. Katie will be talking about how offering your cats herbs can help them stay active, entertained and healthy, not to be missed!

Sarah Johnson – Vice President of Felis Britannica

Sarah is currently the Vice President for Felis Britannica, the FIFe Member in the UK. She also serves on the FIFe Disciplinary Commission having recently retired as Chairman of the FIFe Breeding & Registration Commission after 15 year service. She has held the cattery name “Landican” since 1987 with GCCF and since 2001 with FIFe, CFA and TICA. She’s an active breeder of Siamese and oriental shorthair and longhair varieties. In 2005 she began training as a judge in FIFe (Feline International Federation– a world-wide registry) and is now full qualified working internationally judging Persian/Exotics, Semi longhaired cats and the Oriental breeds. This has given her the opportunity to travel to shows abroad in Europe and Asia, and works as a guest judge for GCCF.

Craig Dryden – GCCF Judge and Siamese/Oriental Shorthair Breeder

Craig has been part of the cat fancy since childhood, attending his first show at just 10 years old. Over the years, his interest grew into a deep commitment to the welfare and development of pedigree cats. He began breeding Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs in 2000, focusing on health, temperament, and breed integrity. In 2008, Craig qualified as a GCCF judge and now officiates across Sections 1, 2, 3, and 6. His judging is informed by decades of hands-on experience and a genuine respect for the breeds and their standards. Known for his thoughtful approach and attention to detail, Craig continues to be an active and respected figure in the cat show community.

Wendy Thomson Melling – My Three Cats

Wendy Thomson Melling is the founder of My Three Cats, a feline-first cat-sitting service specialising in caring for anxious and timid cats in their own homes. She’s a passionate advocate for feline wellbeing and leads the Cats Deserve More campaign, calling for greater recognition of cats in a dog-dominated pet industry.
