Marro began with a small group of proud cat lovers. The twist? We were working for a Fresh dog food company. But from the very beginning, we had a dream: to do the same for cats and to do it properly. We’d seen first-hand how a Fresh, gently cooked, human-quality diet could change a dog’s life. And when we looked at the cat food aisle? It just didn’t match up. Ultra-processed, unimaginative, and (frankly) a bit uninspired. It didn’t reflect the curious, complex, brilliant creatures we call cats. So we set out to change that. After eight years of recipe testing, learning and feline taste-testing, Marro was born. In 2024, we launched with one mission: to deliver health, happiness and ease to cats and their people. That means Fresh meals made with ingredients you can actually say, gently cooked at 90°C, and served straight from the fridge.
