The Cat Show Live Returns to Birmingham’s NEC, Launching The Rescue 100 Initiative to Help Find Homes for 100 Cats by Christmas
The Cat Show Live 2025 is proud to announce the launch of its flagship rescue initiative: Rescue 100, with one clear and heartfelt mission – to help rehome 100 cats by Christmas.
At the very heart of the show lies Hope Alley, a dedicated space celebrating the work of 18 trusted rescues, foster networks, and charities from across the UK. Each organisation is united by one goal: giving cats a second chance at life.
While no cats will be physically present for adoption on the day, visitors can:
-
Meet and connect directly with rescue representatives
-
Learn about the cats in their care through digital displays and stories
-
Register their interest in adoption and begin the official process
From home checks to paperwork, every step after the event will be handled by the rescues themselves to ensure safe, ethical adoptions.
Throughout Hope Alley, visitors will be able to see the campaign progress on live screens, showcasing cats who’ve already found their forever homes and those still waiting for their chance. A Wall of Hope will also invite attendees to leave personal messages of support, creating a lasting mark of love and solidarity for cats in need.
Rescue 100 embodies The Cat Show Live’s commitment to Responsible & Educated Cat Ownership (RECO), shining a spotlight on the organisations that need our support most. With the UK cat population at crisis point, this campaign is a call to action for anyone considering adding a feline friend to their family: change a life, and change your own.
The Cat Show Live takes place on Saturday 13th September 2025 at the NEC Birmingham. Together, we can reach 100 cats in new homes by Christmas – and you can be part of it.
